Iman Al-Khalidi is a professor at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Nizwa. She holds a Ph.D. in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages from the University of Exeter, UK. She recently completed a postgraduate degree in TESL from Humber College in Toronto, Canada in 2020. She has several certificates in business English, teaching effectiveness, instructional design, and IELTS. She has an international experience in teaching English as a foreign/second language. She taught English as an EAP and ESL to undergraduates in different places in Canada, Oman, and Libya. She has participated in numerous research projects regarding course design, instructional design, and digital pedagogy. She has given several invited/plenary talks at international conferences.
