Profile: Youssef Laaraj is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques (FST), Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University of Fez, Morocco. He got a BA in English Studies in 2008, and obtained an MA in ‘Applied Language Studies and Research in Higher Education’ in 2013 at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences Dhar El Mehraz, Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University. In 2021, Laaraj earned a PhD on English Language Education and Language Policy at Mohammed V University in Rabat. Alongside his academic path he earned numerous certificates and had several trainings in EFL Teaching. He has been teaching English Communication for 14 years in various high schools and tertiary institutes across Morocco. His major areas of interest include Language Policy, English Language Teaching, and Sociolinguistics. He participated in different national and international conferences and published articles on Education.
