Dr. Jamal K. M. Ali is currently an Assistant Professor of Faculty of Science and Arts, Bisha University, Saudi Arabia and was previously an Assistant Professor at Sana’a University, Yemen. Dr. Ali was Born in Taiz, Yemen. He was educated at Hodiedah University, Yemen and graduated with a Bachelor degree in English Language. In 2008, he got MA English (Linguistics) degree from English and Foreign Language University, Hyderabad, India. in May 2012, he got PhD degree in Linguistics from Aligarh Muslim University, India . Dr. Ali worked on texting and its effects on Queen English. In 2010 He presented a paper on “The danger of Texting on English Language Structure” at Metropolitan University , Leeds, UK. In 2013, he presented a paper on “The Pedagogical Consequences of Texting” at Sultan Qaboos University in Oman. He presented papers in conferences in Saudi Arabia and India.
