Supporting Educational Innovation to Ensure Quality Teaching
In most countries, higher education is a key agenda issue. Indeed, economic development of any country depends in part on the presence of an educated and skilled workforce and on technological improvements that raise productivity.
Algerian universities, as other countries, have known an impressive number of students’ enrollment. In 2017, they were more than 1 655 000. In fact, higher education in Algeria shifted from an education of elite to a mass education. Accordingly, Algerian universities are characterized by huge classes and a need to adapt teaching approaches to fit this new challenging situation. This great challenge relates to quality issues because quality teaching and learning system in a mass higher education needs new approaches and tools different from the former elite system.

Recognizing that higher education is facing many challenges, a thoughtful and pertinent analysis Education Programs will be of a great help to enhance quality teaching.
