The study examines the recurrent concept of binary oppositions in Robert Frost’s Poetry, in which counter-images clarify a deeper significance below its lucid and direct style. The study presents a biographical approach which deals with the influence of the circumstances in Frost’s life upon his sharp perception of the world’s multiple contradictions. The duality within the individual, society, and life at large , as addressed in Frost’s poetry, is traced to explore the poet’s final note of reconciling opposites.
