Sally kondos is an English Language Instructor at the American University in Dubai (AUD). She brings with her with over 15-year teaching experience in the field of Teaching English as a Second Language. She lived and worked in four different countries, including Egypt, England, KSA and UAE. Prior to joining AUD, Sally was an instructor in English as well as a coordinator in America-Mideast Training Services (Amideast) where she was responsible for conducting TOEFL preparation courses. She has also taught English as a Second language for various levels ranging from basic, intermediate and advanced in the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) 2008-2010. Sally complemented her passion for teaching and professional experience by pursuing a Master in Applied Linguistics / English Language Teaching from the University of Nottingham in the UK (Class of 2014). The passion for Teaching English language has urged Sally to pursue her studies in Doctorate of Education at Exeter. Being a native Arabic speaker, Sally knows how it is extremely difficult to learn a new language. Her research interests are in the field of Phraseology and Second Language Acquisition. Sally is settled with her husband, son and daughter in Dubai since 2007 and enjoys its cosmopolitan culture. She likes tennis, cycling and enjoys shopping and traveling. Besides, she is engaged in communal activities to help the children and less privileged people
