Dr. Saad Torki has a thirty-five-year long teaching experience at all levels in Algeria and the Middle-East where he worked as a teacher trainer on a professional development program he designed and implemented for native teachers of English. He has taught a wide range of courses including British Literature, Listening, Speaking, Grammar, English for Science and Technology, and English for adults. He is currently in charge of the English Phonetics and Phonology course as well as the course taken by Master’s students: Methodology of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. His scholarly interests include EFL/ESL, vocabulary teaching and learning, reading, readability, phonetics, phonology, teacher development, and textbook evaluation. He is a member of the Editorial Boards of several journals. He has supervised students on a wide range of topics.
